Plays
With Mud, owned by crafter-of-all-trades Paula Weigel,
creates beautiful, affordable pottery that is meant
to be loved on a daily basis. Their cookware and
plates are DISHWASHER safe. Being a busy mom, dishwasher
safe has become just as important to me as machine
wash, tumble dry low and microwave on high.
While
you may want to use their trays and bowls at your next
party, they can also be used to display soaps, potpourri,
candies or other small objects. Their signature piece,
the Clamshell Bowl (shown left top and middle), are
about 12 inches in diameter and 4 to 5 inches high.
They can be personalized on the rim with family names
and favorite quotes. A smaller version known as the
Wee Pot was introduced in 2006 in honor of their son.
These pots have an organic shape which fits well with
the natural material. We also love their rustic bread
tray (bottom left) which for $25 is a real steal!
Plays with Mud also offers an eclectic mix of handcrafted
products including luggage tags made from vintage stamps,
funky fabric belts and hair accessories, and hand made
stuffed animals called stuffies.
Plays
with Mud is offering our readers a free Wee Pot with
the purchase of any Clamshell Bowl through the end of
November. Use the code FreeWee at checkout.
