The Boutique Square was created by artist and designer Jill Pearson, a hip mom and owner of the children's boutique Sophie and Spice.

Jill received her BFA from The University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) in 2001. She went on to do freelance editorial work for publications around the country and has received awards from various illustration institutions. Jill also designs youth sports posters for professional photographers.
